“Menoplay is a play on the word menopause and in effect we just want the opposite of whatever menopause is. So, if it’s meno”PAUSE” then we want meno”PLAY”.
· WHAT IS MENOPLAY
MenoPlay is the answer to the question you’ve been asking. “Do you have anything for menopause, you know, hot flashes, night sweats?”
Emphatically, Yes We Do!
· A DEEPER DIVE
After being approached by numerous women who had been dealing with menopause and seeking relief, the creator of MenoPlay set out to do a deeper dive into why were so many women looking for help.
There are 3 areas of concern, in particular, that needed to be addressed.
- 1. What causes menopause and what are the symptoms of menopause?
- 2. What are the products currently being used to treat menopause and why haven’t they been able to fulfil the needs of women suffering from the effect of menopause.?
- 3. Is there anything different that can be done to fill in the gap where other products have fallen short?
· CAUSES OF MENOPAUSE
Menopause is a part of the natural progression of female development. It’s similar to the developmental stage known as puberty, but in reverse, so to speak.
During puberty the body undergoes developmental changes for the possibility of reproduction. During menopause and perimenopause, a woman’s body undergoes changes to do the exact opposite.
As a woman goes through the menopausal transition, the body goes through anatomical and physiological changes. Reproductive organs began to decrease in activity. There are also changes in function, shape, and size of organs associated with female reproductive processes.
There are myriads of underlying discomforts that going through menopause may bring about. Some women may experience all, some, or none of the discomforts associated with menopause and some symptoms might be more pronounced in some women more than others.
Symptoms often associated with menopause are a change in hormone balance, a change in the production of hormones, a change in the ability to utilize hormones, atrophy of reproductive organs, irritability, night sweats, hot flashes, fatigue, pain, dizziness, insomnia, anxiety, and others.
· WHY HASN’T THERE BEEN A REMEMDY
The human body is complex and often a “web of entanglement”. It can be hard to pinpoint the most significant contributing factor to a disease, illness, or discomfort and then have to decide on what must be done about it.
This is why there are various options for the treatment of menopause. HRT or Hormone Replacement Therapy is one of the leading treatments of menopausal disorders. There are also other hormone related medications as well as over the counter and natural options available as well.
It’s worth noting that women taking pharmaceutical HRT medications often report no improvement and in some cases a worsening of symptoms. In addition, pharmaceutical medications have been linked to cancer, blood clotting, increased risk of heart disease, and stroke.
On the other hand, natural products seem to work just as well if not better and without the numerous reported side effects that comes along with pharmaceutical medications. However, there areas in which we think improvements can be made. It is these insights, positions, and product design that differentiates our products from others on the market.
· OUR ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION
“Do you have anything for menopause, you know, hot flashes, night sweats?”
Emphatically, Yes We Do!
Hormone regulation is of prime importance when it comes to the issue of menopause. In addition to the regulation of hormones, the discomforting symptoms of menopause must be regulated as well. It is often the case that treating the root of an illness, disease, or disorder while at the same time treating the symptoms of that disease or disorder, will lead to healing.
The primary symptomatic complaints by women going through menopause are hot flashes and night sweats. While a portion of that has to do with the production and use of hormones there is a hidden aspect that while, seemingly insignificant, may have a bigger impact on the symptoms of night sweats and hot flashes than we think.
It is our position that one of the contributing factors to night sweats and hot flashes is an increase in biological and metabolic activity. If during menopause reproductive organs are indeed changing shape, size, and function, then these changes will lead to biological processes and those biological process will lead to the production of heat.
It is this insight that has influenced our design when formulating MenoPlay.
“The most common complaints seem to be night sweats and hot flashes.”
In Ayurveda (an ancient Indian healing system) cooling herbs are herbs that combat conditions of the body that cause excess heat. These herbs have a cooling effect on the internal temperature of the body. Utilizing cooling herbs that also have positive effects on menopausal transition is one of the aspects of MenoPlay that differentiates it from similar products on the market.
Another aspect that separates us from the field is the omission of black and blue cohosh. Searching for natural products in the market you are bound to run into those that incorporate black and blue cohosh. For us at MenoPlay, we believe these herbs are not necessary as there are others that can perform the same function but without the potential negative side effects.
Black Cohosh has been linked to liver damage, while Blue Cohosh has been linked with decreasing oxygen supply and the narrowing of blood vessels. I am sure you can see the risk associated with introducing these potential negative side effects to someone is developing further along the aging process.
· MENOPLAY IS BORN
MenoPlay was conceptualized and formulated with two core principles in mind. Hormone Regulation and Symptom Regulation.
· HORMONE REGULATION
Hormone Regulation is vital to help the body get menopause under control. Here, the focus is on increasing hormones, hormone production, hormone balance, and aiding in the use and metabolism of hormones.
· SYMPTOM REGULATION
The primary discomforts associated with menopause are hot flashes and nights sweats, however, the herbs in this formula are all well-rounded and will to bring most if not all the symptoms associated with menopause to a halt.
